Donna Gentry, MA, is an Assistant Director in Contract Management at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). In this role, she is responsible for overseeing contracting strategies, which encompasses planning and execution of pre- and post-contract activities, and facilitating the lifecycle contracts for various PCORI portfolio teams. 

Before joining PCORI, Gentry was grants manager at the TriService Nursing Research Program, a Department of Defense program dedicated to funding military nurse researchers. She managed a large portfolio of grants, provided technical assistance to applicants and grantees, reviewed applications and budgets, helped prepare the annual Call for Proposals, and handled logistical details for scientific review meetings. Previously, she was associate director of program services in North Carolina for the March of Dimes.

Gentry earned a BA in general studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MA in health advocacy from Sarah Lawrence College.​
